The Alabama Administrative Office of Courts (AOC) supports the Judiciary's goal of ensuring that persons with limited English proficiency (LEP) have equal access to Alabama's courts.

The AOC seeks to improve court interpreter services by coordinating the court interpreter registration and certification program; developing and implementing related policies, providing a Registry of interpreter resources, and working to develop new ways for making qualified foreign language interpreter services more readily available.
